Our client is a world leading innovator in computer graphics, video capture and digital display technology.  The Application Software Engineer will be a key member of the software development team enhancing the recently released WallControl 10 application to provide the rich feature set expected by our worldwide customer base. This role is based at our Derby office in normal office hours, the successful candidate should be UK based within comfortable commuting distance.

Required Skills:

  • C#
  • WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) (WinForms / Silverlight would be considered)
  • Unit Testing (Fluent Assertions / Moq)
  • Experience with .NET Frameworks 3.5 – 4.6.2

 

Desirable Skills:

  • WCF (Windows Communications Foundation)
  • MVVM Design pattern
  • PRISM
  • MEF (Microsoft Extensibility Framework)
  • IoC (Inversion of Control) using Castle Windsor or Unity
  • TDD

 

Desired but not essential: 

  • MVC Design Pattern
  • NHIbernate or Entity Framework
  • HTML
  • JavaScript
  • CSS
  • WiX Toolset
