Web Developer

Duties

  • Our Web dev will be expected to maintain our 4 webstores and website
  • Turning Photoshop/Sketch documents into responsive, semantic HTML5 and CSS
  • Maintaining existing and creating new API integrations with third-party services
  • Basic Linux admin with Node.js, nginx, MySQL and WordPress
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of our customer facing cloud services

 

Skills

  • Demonstrable experience building optimised, responsive websites targeting modern desktop and mobile browsers
  • Strong HTML and CSS skills
  • The web developer must be comfortable building simple applications with JavaScript including in-browser Vanilla JS / JQuery and Node/Express on the backend
  • Comfortable working with assets in Photoshop and Illustrator

 

Desirable

 

  • Experience building HTML email templates
  • Experience with E-Commerce websites
  • SEO experience
  • Experience with Websockets
  • Basic familiarity with SVG and CSS animation
